DIY Alternator - Rotor Assembly

Now, glue the finished rotor to the pipe flange on the rotor hub. The flange should be just wide enough to fit over the PVC pipe. The magnet force from the twelve magnets should actually be enough to keep the rotor in place, but a large amount of epoxy is good to just be safe. Just as with JB welding the pipe flange onto the hub, make sure that the rotor is aligned well when gluing it onto the rotor hub.

This is what it should look like when glued together. One magnet is missing from the rotor in this picture because I was waiting for a replacement to magnet to arrive.

Slip the bolts into the holes and use nuts to secure them. The rotor core is now complete!
